Lean is possible through distinct techniques such as flow charts, just in time, total quality management, workplace redesigning, and total productive maintenance. Lean project management is one of the best practices of project management as an application of lean manufacturing principles. Therefore the objective of lean project management is to produce higher-value while reducing any kind of waste. Lean manufacturing principles were developed for improving the production processes of Toyota in the 1950s. Lean management is an approach to running an organization that supports the concept of continuous improvement , a long-term approach to work that systematically seeks to achieve small, incremental changes in processes in order to improve efficiency and quality.
